The Homes and Community of New Town at Harmony

New Urbanism is a movement promoting environmentally friendly habits by creating walkable neighborhoods with a wide range of housing options. It came to the United States in the early 1980s in Seaside, Florida, and has since been influencing many aspects of real estate development and urban planning. It focuses on two concepts: building a sense of community and the development of ecological practices. Ideal New Urban communities are diverse in use and populations, designed for pedestrians and shaped by physically defined and universally accessible civic spaces. Urban places should be framed by architecture and landscape design that celebrate local history, climate, ecology, and building practice.

New Town at Harmony is developed by Homes by Whittaker and is modeled of off their very successful New Urban Community, New Town St. Charles, just outside of St. Louis. New Town at Harmony is proposed to have up to 600 housing units on 130 acres. It's a truly mixed-use environment with a wide range of homes to suit most every budget.

Our Amenities

Holli Ann

“The beautiful homes, ability to appreciate small town living within the city limits, and the chance to appreciate neighborhood amenities are all wonderful but they pale in comparison to the incredible sense of belonging you experience with life in New Town.”

The Cloes

“The sales team works very hard to bring entertainment to the residents in the form of concerts, carriage rides, movie nights and other outdoor events and the builders are passionate about making sure every home is unique. We love it here. This is where we were meant to be.”
